Once there, click on the Advanced tab, and select the Environment Variables to edit the JAVA_HOME variable to point the system to the JDK software location, for example: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.X.X (make sure to replace X with the proper version number for the installed JDK).
Just right click My Computer and select Properties.
To specifically select a Java version to use, it can be directly configured using the JAVA_HOME environment variable.
